Aluminum door frame set back from the exterior plaster wall face. Self-adhered membrane head strip wrapped into the rough opening and sealed to the door frame, with the back angle lapped under the vapor barrier or gypsum board. Exterior plaster wall cladding finished with a sealant bead over a backer rod, incorporating weeps for drainage at the outside corner lintel. Interior finished with gypsum board or a vapor barrier. Field-applied self-adhered membrane lapped over the head strip and metal flashing, with an air seal applied at the interface between the frame and the wall assembly.
