A prefabricated safety guard rail system matches the Rite-Hite GuardRite protective railing in prefinished safety yellow. The assembly consists of five-inch by five-inch vertical steel posts spaced per plan and secured to a concrete slab. Highway rails bolt directly to the posts using four three-quarter-inch diameter serrated bolts with a minimum four-inch embedment. The total height of the guard rail is three feet eight inches, with intermediate rails positioned at one foot five inches and three feet five inches.
