An extruded aluminum glazing head is secured beneath a scheduled metal stud wall framed with gypsum board on both faces. A three-eighths-inch sealant joint seals the gap between the bottom of the wall framing and the top of the aluminum head profile. The head member accommodates scheduled glazing and aligns with adjacent aluminum frame sections extending beyond.
