This stair guardrail detail at the top landing features a two-inch diameter steel top rail and one-inch outer diameter steel pipe rails welded to half-inch by two-inch vertical steel plate rails. The vertical post assembly is secured by a six-inch by nine-inch painted steel base plate anchored into cast-in-place structural concrete using stainless steel anchors and washers sized per plan.
