A painted steel handrail extends down the stair and terminates with a return to the adjacent wall above the bottom landing. The handrail maintains a height of three feet above the landing surface and extends eleven inches minimum horizontally. The cast-in-place concrete stair features an abrasive nosing typically installed at all risers.
