An extruded aluminum vertical mullion interfaces with a metal door panel at the exterior and interior transition. The assembly includes a six-inch profile dimension, an eighth-inch joint clearance, and a three-and-a-quarter-inch frame segment. Overall dimensions span seven-and-one-eighth inches to one-and-one-half inches, totaling eight-and-three-quarters inches across the assembly width. Gaskets and weatherstripping secure the metal door panel within the storefront framing system.
