A 4-inch by 6-inch structural steel tube with a quarter-inch plate extends 3 feet into a 24-inch diameter by 3-foot 6-inch deep concrete footing. A 7-foot long quarter-inch steel plate is welded at the bottom and to the top ground edge with a quarter-inch chamfer all around. Three steel hinges are welded on each side of the steel tube to support the swing gate. The face of the tube aligns with the edge of the wall.
