A metal stud partition wall terminates at a perpendicular metal deck assembly, utilizing a fire trak shadowline profile secured with posi clips. Mineral wool board insulation fills the flutes of the metal deck above the partition. Gypsum board clads both sides of the steel studs, finished at the head with fire rated gypsum compound or fire caulk.
