An interior partition wall with metal studs and board finishes abuts a concrete wall finish, maintaining a typical three-eighths-inch joint space. The joint between the partition and the concrete surface is sealed with a typical backer rod and sealant. Metal edge trim finishes the partition wall corners where they meet the concrete substrate, with wall types and stud assemblies sized per architectural schedules.
