An aluminum door head section connects to a metal stud wall assembly sized per plan, featuring an applied wall tile finish over backer board and variable wall finishes for furring. Caulk is applied all around on both sides of the frame head. The detail is similar for hollow metal frames and aligns with adjacent wall surfaces.
