One-and-one-quarter-inch nominal diameter steel pipe railings and vertical posts are spaced at a maximum forty-two inches on center, unless otherwise noted, maintaining a clear space between rails of less than four inches with all divisions equal. A three-eighths-inch steel plate is positioned between the steel channel stringers. All stair railing connections and intersections are welded and ground smooth.
