A continuous twenty-gauge minimum three-inch deep leg deflection track attaches to the concrete floor or roof slab at twelve inches on center maximum. The gap between the slab and the top of the wall fills with mineral wool insulation. Spray-applied firestop material provides a minimum two-inch overlap onto the sprayed fire-resistive material and one-half inch onto the wall. A continuous two-inch wide by twenty-gauge metal strap receives gypsum board attachment at eight inches on center maximum. Sprayed fire-resistive material coats the concrete slab, steel furring, and metal lath assembly.
