An eight-inch standard steel pipe measuring seven feet long is set into a concrete foundation and filled solid with concrete, topped with a rounded concrete cap. The concrete pier measures one foot eight inches in diameter and extends seven feet deep below the finish grade, with a four-inch clearance at the bottom. A fourteen-inch long anchor bar passes horizontally through the lower portion of the pipe to secure it within the footing.
