This assembly consists of a laminated glass panel secured to a stair stringer with a base connection. The glass panel is finished at the top with a U-cap and reaches a total height of 3 feet 7 inches. A handrail is mounted to the side of the glass panel at a height of 3 feet 0 inches above the finished stair level. The base connection is recessed within a 4 1/2 inch high assembly mounted directly to the top of the stringer.
