A steel structural brace member connects to a horizontal steel girder via a 3/8-inch thick gusset plate. The gusset plate is welded with 5/16-inch fillet welds on both sides to the structural framing. An additional vertical framing member aligns with Grid 10 above the connection. Dimensions indicate minimum clearances and layout spacings for the gusset plate and framing members.
