An aluminum storefront sill profile bears directly upon the finished floor level, sealed at both interior and exterior perimeter joints with elastomeric sealant beads. Wood shims level the extruded sill member above the subfloor substrate. Internal mechanical fasteners secure the extruded aluminum frame components together.
