A reinforced concrete pad is supported on a four-inch gravel bed and tied into adjacent site elements with a raised concrete island configuration. The concrete has a compressive strength of 3000 PSI and is air-entrained. Reinforcement consists of number four rebar spaced at ten inches on center in each way, placed in both the top and bottom of the slab. Clearances include three inches at the sides and bottom, with an overall pad thickness of one foot six inches and a six-inch step dimension. The installation requires coordination with the generator manufacturer.
