This assembly features a 1-1/2 inch outside diameter painted galvanized steel pipe post welded directly to a painted galvanized steel stringer. The guardrail system includes a top rail and an intermediate rail, both 1-1/2 inch outside diameter painted galvanized steel pipe, providing a total guardrail height of 42 inches with a maximum spacing of 21 inches between rails. A 1-1/2 inch outside diameter painted galvanized steel pipe handrail is mounted to the post using a galvanized steel handrail support bracket, maintaining a 1-1/2 inch minimum clearance from the post and a 36 inch height above the stair. The stair tread consists of galvanized metal grating supported by a 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch galvanized angle welded to the stringer.
