An aluminum thru-wall overflow scupper measuring twelve inches by eight inches penetrates the parapet wall with specified minimum dimensional clearances around the opening. Continuous sealant is applied between the parapet wall surface and the metal flashing to maintain weather tightness. Dimensioned layouts dictate typical clearances including four inches minimum at the top and sides, twelve inches typical horizontally, and two inches minimum edge margins.
