The roof assembly features tapered insulation over metal decking, with EPDM roofing wrapping up and over the parapet wall over glass-mat gypsum sheathing board. The light well is framed with two and one-half inch metal studs supporting glass-mat gypsum sheathing board and an EPDM membrane wrap. A welded stainless steel through-wall drain collects water from the sloped light well framing, equipped with a leaf and gravel screen and a membrane flashing strip. A light fixture with a detachable panel for bulb access is integrated into the well, and all fasteners are specified as stainless steel.
