A built-up cold-formed steel stud column is anchored to a concrete slab on grade using a continuous bottom track and Simpson SSC4.25 connector secured with three-eighths-inch diameter by four-and-a-half-inch Titen HD anchors into the slab and five number ten screws to the studs on each side. The column consists of three vertical studs matching the typical wall studs paired with two typical tracks fastened with eight number ten self-tapping screws at twelve inches on center. Typical wall studs intersect the assembly continuously.
