An acoustic wall assembly intersects with adjacent partitions and floor assemblies as indicated on the floor plans. The construction consists of multiple layers of gypsum board finish over framing cavities filled with batt insulation. Sound attenuation is maintained across the junction by coordinating the partition layers per the architectural plans.
