Rout and return composite metal panels secure to a mounting surface via manufacturer-specified mounting bracket assemblies. A backer rod and sealant finish the panel joint. The mounting surface consists of a half-inch plywood substrate or light-gauge framing supports, with the center line of the framing coordinated to the panel joint locations. The general contractor coordinates trade work and verifies panel joint locations against the metal panel shop drawings prior to construction.
