An entry door threshold incorporates a ten-inch smooth bottom panel referencing an enlarged detail. The maximum threshold height is limited to one-half inch above the finished floor, maintaining the same level across the transition. Push, pull, or lever type operating hardware is positioned between thirty and forty-four inches above the floor. Approach slopes are limited to a maximum of one-quarter inch per foot.
