An aluminum entrance door frame meets a cold-formed metal stud jamb framing assembly integrated with a brick and stone veneer wall. The wall assembly incorporates five-eighths-inch exterior gypsum sheathing over metal studs, covered by a fluid-applied air and vapor barrier and two-and-a-half-inch rigid cavity insulation. A self-adhered flashing wraps the door opening, while spray-applied closed-cell thermal insulation fills the stud cavity to a minimum six-inch depth. The exterior joint features a three-quarter-inch dual-stage sealant joint with a backer rod, transitioning to the prefinished aluminum entrance door. Interior finishes include gypsum board with paint over metal stud framing, finished with a perimeter caulk joint.
