A guardrail assembly utilizes a 3/4-inch by 3-inch painted steel guardrail stanchion. A 1-inch by 3/4-inch stainless steel support bar is fastened directly to the painted stanchion. A 1-inch diameter stainless steel rod extends horizontally through the assembly.
