A reception desk assembly features a solid surface countertop over a three-quarter-inch multi-core panel and black-painted hardwood blocking mounted on three-and-five-eighths-inch metal studs. The top of the transaction surface is set at an elevation of three feet eight inches above finished floor with an eleven-inch overhang. A lower work surface consists of a solid surface over a three-quarter-inch multi-core panel set at an elevation of two feet six inches above finished floor. The metal stud wall is finished with five-eighths-inch gypsum board and continuous three-quarter-inch blocking with plastic laminate finish.
