Metal plates are connected using number ten hex-head bolts fitted with washers and nuts of required length. A number six connecting metal plate bridges the two planes. A domed nut or bolt cap is installed where the bolt tip is exposed to wire or creates a safety hazard.
USE DOMED NUT OR BOLT CAP WHERE BOLT TIP IS EXPOSED TO WIRE OR WHERE BOLT TIP CREATES A SAFETY HAZARD (TYP) #6 CONNECTING METAL PLATES #10 HEX-HEAD BOLT WITH WASHER AND NUT (LENGTH AS REQUIRED).
