A two-piece surface-mounted counterflashing assembly at a concrete tilt-up wall with a smooth trowel finish and elastomeric paint. The twenty-four gauge galvanized iron counterflashing is secured with appropriate neoprene-gasketed fasteners spaced at sixteen inches on center and sealed at the juncture. The base flashing incorporates two reinforcement plies set in asphalt over a mineral-surfaced flashing sheet and a perlite cant strip with four-inch legs nailed to the deck at twelve inches on center. An additional ply is provided at the waterway spanning thirty-six inches minimum, with a membrane per specifications and a three-course application sealing the top edge of the base flashing. A one-inch head fastener is spaced at six to eight inches on center over a primed concrete surface.
