A surface mounted mechanical, electrical, or plumbing box or equipment mounts to an interior PVC wall or ceiling panel over metal stud or grid framing. A continuous vapor retarder runs behind the panel. Conduit or tubing enters the box from behind the framing. Sealant is applied all around the perimeter of the box where it meets the panel. Duct seal is applied inside the box after running wires.
