This assembly connects a trellis structure to a tilt-up concrete monolithic panel using a steel plate embed cast into the concrete face. Two 10-inch by 2-inch steel tubes are welded to the embed plate at each column location, centered on the assembly. A 4-inch diameter steel pipe is positioned above the tube connection. The concrete panel features a chamfer strip at the joint. All pipe and tube ends must be closed, all welds ground smooth, and all steel components finished with a multicoat system.
