A sliding wood door head assembly connects to a seven-and-a-quarter-inch wall framed with rough carpentry and faced with gypsum wallboard beyond. The sliding door track hardware and casing profile attach to the wood blocking per manufacturer requirements. Gaskets provide sealing around the sliding wood door panel and head frame.
