Four hollow structural section columns attach to a continuous built-up wide-flange steel girder via base plates and anchor bolts. The primary girder features a bolted double-angle shear tab web connection joining adjacent beam segments over a central support column. Shims sit below the base plates supporting the hollow structural section columns atop the top flange of the girder. Threaded bolts secure the column base plates through the top flange of the girder.
