The fence and gate are supplied by the gate vendor and installed by the general contractor. A tighter mesh is provided at and around the doors, supplemented by a metal shield to prevent reach-through access. An alarmed exit device is mounted on a bent steel plate, with an exit sign mounted directly to the structure above. A one-eighth-inch steel kick plate is installed at the bottom of the door, and all gaps maintain a maximum clearance of one-half inch.
