A vertical transition between a louver system and metal panel cladding occurs at a mechanical mezzanine level. The assembly is supported by hollow structural section framing and bears against a concrete slab with a traffic-coated topping sloped to drain. Mineral wool firestop insulation and firestop sealant are installed at the slab edge behind the exterior metal panels. A waterstop is provided at the concrete cold joint.
