A twelve-gauge splayed seismic bracing wire is secured to a concrete-filled metal deck using a one-and-a-half-inch by one-and-a-half-inch by twelve-gauge steel clip. The clip is fastened into the concrete deck fill with a five-eighths-inch diameter expansion bolt requiring a four-and-a-quarter-inch minimum embedment. The bracing wire features four tight turns minimum with a maximum one-and-a-half-inch tail. Additional notes and dimensions refer to ICC report number ESR-1917.
