Recessed ceiling fixtures are supported by twelve-gauge vertical support wires extending from each corner of the housing directly to the overhead deck structure. Two diagonally opposite corners receive an additional slack twelve-gauge safety wire for seismic restraint. Eye hooks must be closed or utilize fixture-supplied mounting straps. Mechanical diffuser grilles follow the identical bracing requirements specified for lighting fixtures.
