Stair stringer connection at the bottom of a run at an intermediate landing. A continuous L5x3x1/4 angle spans between stringers and is fastened with two 5/8-inch diameter by 1 1/2-inch long A325 tension-control bolts, placed within four inches of each stringer. The continuous angle connects to the landing channel with a 3/16-inch fillet weld with a 2 1/2-inch spacing. The stair tread nosing and landing edge align as indicated.
