A wide sheet metal coping joint sealed with a double S-cleat cover plate secured by fasteners at a maximum of six inches on center on one side only. The underlying substrate receives a self-adhering membrane or roof membrane beneath the metal coping. The roof assembly consists of a metal roof deck topped by a self-adhering vapor retarder, roofing insulation, and a fully adhered single-ply roof membrane. Dimensional callouts specify clearance gaps and overlap lengths for the sheet metal joint.
