An electric vehicle charging station light pole mounts to a two-foot diameter cast-in-place concrete base with a one-inch grout layer beneath the base plate. The concrete base extends down to a two-foot ground cover, sitting on a compacted subgrade with an electrical conduit entering from below. A concrete curb abuts the base on one side, and the surrounding grade transitions from finished grade to a compacted aggregate sub-base per civil and structural requirements.
