An exterior expansion joint assembly between two concrete tilt-up wall panels, structured per structural engineering requirements. A continuous extruded aluminum expansion joint cover spans the exterior gap, accompanied by continuous extruded aluminum cover plates secured with 3/16-inch by 1-3/4-inch masonry anchors at 18 inches on center and continuous extruded aluminum anchor clips. The joint opening incorporates a 16-inch wide vapor barrier and insulation loop. The interior side is finished with a continuous aluminum cover plate secured by 2-inch wide aluminum back clips and 1/4-inch by 1-1/4-inch wall dog anchors spaced at 18 inches on center.
