An aluminum door frame integrates with surrounding gypsum board walls over a nominal 2x6 solid wood blocking running the full length of the track. EPDM gaskets line the aluminum frame sections for acoustic or weather sealing. The sliding door panel hangs from a track concealed within the aluminum framing assembly.
