A pipe penetrates through the insulated metal panel ceiling or roof assembly with continuous insulation and a protective pipe jacket running through the ceiling. The pipe jacket continues through the ceiling transition to unjacketed insulation located below the ceiling. Typical sealant is applied at the interface between the pipe insulation and the ceiling assembly on both sides.
