The assembly utilizes a 54 mil continuous track with a 1-1/2 inch deep flange, secured to the substrate using two 0.157 inch diameter Hilti X-U powder-actuated fasteners with 1-1/2 inch embedment, totaling 4 fasteners at concrete and metal deck conditions. For metal deck only applications, 4 total number 10 sheet metal screws are utilized. 150 F 125-54 furring channels are spaced at 24 inches on center parallel to the deck flutes, fastened with two number 10 sheet metal screws totaling 4 per connection. Hanging steel stud size and spacing are determined per plan and section requirements, accommodating necessary structural deflection.
