A 1-1/2-inch Schedule 40 stainless steel pipe forms the railing assembly, with a 3-inch bend radius and a 1-foot 6-inch minimum width. The bottom of the pipe is shop-welded to an end plate, and all welds are ground smooth. Two 3/8-inch Tapcon+ concrete anchors secure each post to the wall, requiring a minimum embedment of 2-1/2 inches per ICC ESR-3699.
