This assembly consists of metal framing studs finished with one layer of gypsum board on each side. Insulation is installed within the cavity where indicated. Continuous acoustic sealant is applied at each side at sound isolation walls. Base types are referenced from finish plans. The partition achieves a one-hour fire rating where required per Gypsum Association file number WP 1072.
