A one-and-one-half-inch perforated steel handrail is primed, painted, and welded to a mounting plate secured against a concrete panel. The connection uses a quarter-inch by three-inch diameter steel plate welded to the handrail and anchored to the panel with three-quarter-inch by three-inch expansion bolts spaced at six feet zero inches on center with six inches from each end, returning to the wall with a one-and-one-half-inch minimum clearance. All welds are ground smooth with pits filled as required per specifications.
