A concrete walk with a thickened edge interfaces with a cast-in-place concrete curb and gutter via a one-half-inch expansion joint. The curb features tooled one-half-inch radius edges, a one-inch radius at the gutter invert, a three-eighths-inch lip, and a specified slope toward the asphalt or concrete paving. One-inch diameter schedule forty P.V.C. weepholes are located at eight feet zero inches on center, sloped at a minimum of one inch down from the back of the curb and one-third cubic foot rock pit. Finish grade is established at one inch at sod and one and one-half inches at ground cover over natural grade, with base layers detailed per civil drawings.
