A PVC mechanical, electrical, and plumbing box is fastened to metal framing behind an interior wall or ceiling panel. A continuous vapor retarder wraps the box and is taped or sealed to the backing vapor retarder layer. All box connections are fully sealed, and conduit or tubing penetrations are sealed with duct seal after running wires. A wallplate finishes the assembly on the room side.
