A one-and-one-half by one-and-one-half inch blackened steel tube rail sits atop a one-and-one-half by one-quarter inch blackened steel flat bar post. The post inserts into a core-drilled hole in the concrete slab, which is fully grouted and embeds two-and-one-half inches deep while avoiding damage to steel reinforcement or decking. Radius corners at the post are filled with weld material, and all welds finish to a class B standard.
